As Nicole wisely puts it, you don't need to have everything figured out to launch a successful business. We recently joined Nicole at one of her highly popular Silent Disco yoga sessions by the sea. We wanted to learn more about how her business, Breathe With Ease, has leveraged our Silent Disco equipment to establish her brand and support her entrepreneurial journey. Here's what we discovered.
From Dance to Yoga
Nicole Allen started her yoga business, Breathe With Ease, as a newly trained yoga teacher. She began her Silent Disco journey in April of 2023, stating “I’ve got a background in dancing, then when I became a yoga teacher I was wondering, ‘how I can combine the movement and the love of dance with presence and the breath work and flow of yoga?'” Flash forward to present day, it’s clear to see when watching her fully engaged yoga class that she has managed to combine such elements through the use of Silent Disco headphones.
Creating an Immersive Experience
We were curious to know how the Silent Disco equipment elevated these events and how Silent Disco Yoga sessions differ from the conventional yoga classes Nicole teaches. “We use the headphones to create an immersive experience” she explains, expanding on how she fits the Silent Disco headphones into her brand. “Silent Disco yoga is a combination of yoga, breathwork and ecstatic dance where people can close off from the outside world and really focus inwardly and immerse themselves in upbeat Afro house/Ibiza classics”.
After exploring the variety of Silent Disco events and the elevation the equipment provides, Nicole elaborated further “I found the kit purely by searching online”. Regarding her search for a Silent Disco company to work with, she commented, “I wanted to find a company that was really good at communicating” she explains “and from the get go, Silent Disco King has been really prompt in responding to me and answering all my questions. I felt really safe to go ahead and purchase the kit”.
Finding the Right Equipment Partner
At the end of our conversation, it was clear that Silent Disco King support would be offered every step of the way. “Whenever I've needed help or advice with the Silent Disco equipment, buying more headsets, the delivery and response time is really quick. If I need to update the kit or change a transmitter, they've been able to post me or swap things out as quickly as possible.”
Looking Ahead: Festivals, Retreats, and More
The future for Nicole and Breathe With Ease is looking extremely positive. “I'm about to step into a really busy festival season where I'll be teaching Silent Disco yoga at some fantastic UK places. In September I’ll be hosting a yoga retreat using Silent Disco equipment in Ibiza, then in February I'll also be hosting another yoga retreat in Morocco.” She relays.
As the next chapter unfolds for Nicole and Breathe With Ease, she is setting her sights on branching out to other types of events. “I'm gonna be doing a lot more hendos as well, be really busy with the Silent Disco yoga events and before you know it, it’ll be summer next year! I’ll be planning more opportunities and more immersive events for people all across the country”.
