What does the Silent Disco Crew do?
Whilst being a member of our Silent Disco crew at festivals you’ll be needed to help…
- Assist crew members unloading equipment for events – usually consisting of moving boxes of headphones.
- Provide assistance to SDK Crew Leaders by setting up Silent Disco systems and headphones before the events start.
- Distribute and collect Silent Disco headphones during the festival or event. This could mean either taking payments for headphone deposits or handing out and collecting headphones.
- Assist with headphone exchanges, sanitisation and technical support whilst the Silent Discos are in full swing.
- Charge the headphones (usually during the day).
- Help with set up and pack down for each event.
- Be supportive and helpful to other crew members.
If you don’t mind working strange hours, sleeping in a tent, doing a bit of lifting and dealing with the music-loving public, this is a role you’ll love!
