Silent Disco King Kick Off Festival Season 2024 at Teddy Rocks Festival!

Silent Disco King got the green light just two weeks before the festival kicked off, but that only pumped us up even more to kickstart the 2024 festival season in style!

Teddy Rocks isn't just any festival—it's got heart, soul, and an incredible story behind it.

Starting as a small gig in 2011, Teddy Rocks has grown into a powerhouse event. Raising funds for Teddy20, a children's cancer charity, in memory of Tom Newton's little brother. With its warm atmosphere and tight-knit community, it's no wonder it snagged the title of 'Best Family Festival' at the UK Festival Awards 2022.

We've been itching to be a part of this fantastic festival for years, and finally, our dreams came true!

Let's talk Silent Disco!

Silent Disco King set up for an amazing three days of Silent Disco nestled amidst the lush greenery and buzzing energy of the festival grounds located in Blandford (Dorset). Not knowing what to expect amongst the fun filled fields we opened up for Silent Disco goodness for all starting from 12pm to 12am.

Festival-goers rocked their headphones, grooving wherever their hearts desired (and yes, you could even jam out from your campsite!).

Hats off to all the party animals who joined us, especially our die-hard Silent Disco aficionados—You are the real MVPs!

And the love kept pouring in even after the festival wrapped up!

"I just wanted feedback that we were at Teddy Rocks Festival this weekend and rented some headsets from Silent Disco King while there.

We've had great experiences with you at the 2000 Trees festival before so the bar for standards was high.

The team you sent to Teddy Rocks utterly smashed it. It was a far smaller Silent Disco than 2000 trees festival but easily as good. If not, better. Which is hard to pull off.

The DJs were excellent, however, the real hero there was the volunteer (Didn't catch their name sadly) who had their first experiences acting as a DJ this weekend. They utterly slayed it. (We're a little disappointed they're attending 2000 trees as an attendee instead of a volunteer in all honesty! )

The music was on point the entire time and you could tell the DJs all were really enjoying what they were doing and just utterly smashed it.

The lady who was handing out headsets was such a queen too! Again, I didn't catch her name (I got my photo with her!) but she was wicked fun and really engaging. She was really good humored about us circle pitting around her and getting her involved in conga lines.

Silent disco was the absolute highlight for me and my group of friends and we spent from 5pm until midnight all 3 nights at Silent disco. A couple of my friends are very anxious about dancing and even they were dancing all 3 nights for hours in the middle of a field with strangers just wandering past and they didn't even care who could see them (given the personalities of the people I hang with, it's more of an impressive feat than it sounds).

Anyway, Just wanted feedback because all of the team you sent to Teddy Rocks really deserve praise. Utter heroes of the weekend.
