Let’s first take a look at Elemental Earthdance. Created by Jen Johnson, Elemental Earthdance focuses on physical and mental wellbeing through accessible movements and dancing.
As Jen lives near the coast, bringing her classes to the beach was something she had envisioned. However, this idea came with obstacles such as how to make sure everyone could hear her over the sounds of waves and winds. A traditional speaker or PA system would be the first ‘go-to’ but it would disturb other beach goers and bring on issues with around noise licensing.

Hush Beats Silent Disco
Next, let’s meet Tor Seacombe! Based in Brighton, Tor runs a silent disco kit hire company called Hush Beats Silent Disco. She has been running Hush Beats for around eight years, and has been organising Silent Disco events on the beach for around four.
Hush Beats events started when Tor visited Brighton with a group of friends at the end of one of the lockdowns in 2020. At the end of the party, a young woman came up to her and asked to buy a ticket to her Silent Disco. This moment was her inspiration to run Silent Disco events on Brighton beach to incorporate iconic surroundings and start selling tickets.
When she learned about the low tides around the Brighton Palace Pier, she thought it would be an ideal space to do a Silent Disco! It wasn’t long after until she made her dreams a reality. Her favourite Silent Disco that she has held was in August 2024, where she had over 100 people down on the low-tide sands of sunny Brighton dancing and having the time of their lives.

Breathe with Ease
Last but not certainly not least, it’s time to meet Nicole Allen at Breath with Ease! She began her Silent Disco journey back in April of 2023. Nicole has a background in dancing, and when she became a yoga instructor, she wondered how she could combine the movement and the love of dancing with the flow and breath work of yoga. From that idea, Silent Disco Yoga events were born.
“We use the Silent Disco headsets to create an immersive event experience” Nicole explains, describing how Silent Disco equipment enhances her events. With the Harry Silent Disco headphones, people can close off from the outside world and really focus inwardly and immerse themselves in an upbeat Afro/House/Ibiza classics type of event.
“I wanted to find a company that was really good at communicating and from the get go, Silent Disco King was really prompt in responding to me and answering all my questions. I felt really safe to go ahead and purchase the kit” .

The future for Nicole and Breathe With Ease is looking industrious and productive. Nicole is about to step into a busy festival season where she’ll be hosting Silent Disco Yoga across the country, as well as taking her events internationally to Morocco.
“I'm gonna be doing a lot more hen-dos as well, really busy with the silent disco yoga events and before you know it, it’ll be summer next year planning more opportunities and more immersive events for people all across the country.”
